> EA has faithfully brought the DEAD SPACE franchise to the Iphone. The game is really well executed and fitted for the portable device. The graphics are great and solid as the framerate holds up pretty well during the more hectic scenes. The character models found in the game are somewhat blocky around the edges but character animation is spot on and on par with the console versions.
The immerse environments and level design deserve some recognition as for most part you’ll explore the empty space station with well placed enemy encounters and creepy lighting effects. The controls do need some getting used to as there’s a lot going on during combat, for one you’ll need to first freeze a Necromorph shoot it’s limbs off to disarm it while a second Necromorph plans to stab you in the back… EPIC STUFF. The sound is crisp and is highly recommend to wear headphones to truly immerse yourself into the game. Overall the Dead Space iOS is a great example and accomplishment on carefully emulating a console game to a portable device!!!
