> We knew it was coming since Game freak announced an app for the popular Nintendo franchise Pokemon. Confused at why a Pokemon game is not on a Nintendo platform? Simple, Game Freak owns the right to the Pokemon franchise and Nintendo only owns a percentage of the companies stock. Making the company free to distribute the Pokemon name as they please (TV shows, toys, etc.). Don’t except a full fledge game either since the iOS exclusive is a simple Pokemon rhythm game, in which players will need to tap the screen when a specific card appears.
